Jarod - 20 things

1. He's in his 30's, but he doesn't know exactly how old he is, b/c he's not celebrated a birthday since before he was taken by The Centre.
2. He doesn't know anything about his family or if he has any living family.
3. He was treated badly by the people at The Centre.
4. He's not as fascinated with the outside world, b/c he's too crazy to pay much attention if it doesn't grab him as being exciting or interesting.
5. He escaped from The Centre through a sewage drain (like in canon).
6. He has been in seven mental institutions since he escaped The Centre and has escaped from all seven.
7. The last escape led him to Milliways - he was pretending to be a dog and wandered over to a closet, opened the door, went in and ended up at the bar - but he may not remember that.
8. He is excellent at reading body language - but he doesn't always understand what he 'reads'.
9. He lost his virginity to Graham, who was nice enough to a) pay positive attention to him and b) explain what was going on.
10. He doesn't like the Bar (the actual counter) - b/c she 'punished' him like The Centre used to. He doesn't understand that Halloween and the Reaver thing were for fun and for safety, respectively. He just knows that neither were his decision.
11. He wants to be in control of his life; decide things for himself - this is crucial for him; it's the main thing he was never allowed at The Centre.
12. He doesn't remember saying that he loves Graham. This doesn't mean that he doesn't love him, just that he doesn't remember saying it.
13. He thinks it's funny to irritate the hell out of Stan - whom he still doesn't like.
14. The drawings he made on the walls in Graham's room depict things that happened to him at The Centre.
15. He tried to draw similar images on the cell wall with a golf pencil; if they're there, they are very faint.
16. He doesn't want to leave Milliways b/c he doesn't want to go back to the mental institution, but he's not comfortable in the bar either.
17. He thinks Stephen is scary. (Don't ask me why.)
18. He doesn't like Gwen/Garak/Garion/whatever and he doesn't know that they're each different personalities; they all have the same body, so they're all the same to him.
19. He's a genius and can, at certain moments, appear quite normal; it just doesn't happen all that often.
20. He gets highly upset when people don't 'play along' with his pretends.
